Why do I need to submit my email address?

We require a valid email address in order to properly communicate with you regarding your account.


Is the tag really free?

Yes, the tags are absolutely free and so is the use of the website.


Can I get more than 1 tag?

You can order as many tags as you want.


Can I register more than one pet and get a tag for each one of them?

Yes, you can certainly register more than one pet and get each one a free tag!


What do I do if my pet lost his tag?

You can obtain replacement tags for free just as the initial tag was free.


What do I do if I find a lost pet with your tags?

If you find a lost pet with one our tags, please go to TrackMyPets.com and enter the pet ID# shown on the back of the tag on the top of the site, click "Fetch" and follow the instructions.


Can I get a tag if I live outside the US?

Unfortunately, at the moment, our free tags are only available to ship within the USA.


How can people contact me if they find my pet?

If someone finds your pet, we will contact you according to the your preferences. At a minimum we send you an email. Additionally, should you select the option to be contacted via SMS and push notifications, we will also attempt via these methods.


Can you ship the tag to a PO box?

Yes.


How are the tags shipped?

We ship all of our tags via regular USPS standard mail.


How do I know the tag has shipped?

Select the push notification opt in during the account setup. You can also select this option by navigating to your "My Account" section of the site.


How long does it take to receive my tag?

Tags usually take 5-7 business days to arrive.


How long can my pet name be?

We allow a maximum of 15 characters on the tag. If your pet’s name is longer than 15 characters, please use the nickname fields instead.


How big are the tags?

Tags are about 1.5" wide regardless of the shape.


Can I cancel my order?

We will attempt to cancel your order if it has not yet been processed. Please see [Terms and Conditions] section 4.b for details.

How do I cancel my order?
To cancel an order not yet processed, please click on the cancel button for that order. This button is located at the bottom of your account page under the section labelled Order History.


How do I get a refund?

Successfully canceled orders will generate an automatic refund of the associated shipping and handling fee.


Why is the refund not yet reflected on my credit card statement?

Although the refund process of successfully canceled orders is automated, it could take a few days to be reflected on your credit card statement.


Why can I not cancel a processed order?

Because we have already started the process of engraving and the pet’s tag is now being produced and will soon ship.
